The screen on my MacBook Pro all of a sudden blacks out if I flip the screen pass 90°. Laptop is still on but screen blacked out. Only way to get it to work is close it then open it to less than 90°. Any one else have any ideas what could be causing this? Maybe a loose connection internally?

Good luck. I have a "Flexgate" issue that should be covered. After over an hour with Support they said it was a hardware issue and wanted to charge me $475 to fix it. No mention of the "13-inch MacBook Pro Display Backlight Service Program". I had to call back then I got the run around. I have an appointment for an Apple Repair shop they said should do the work at no cost if it meets the criteria. Well it meets all the criteria listed in the service program.

How do the Apple Support people not know about this program!!! They wanted me to spend the $475 and didn't even mention this program. This is the second time Apple tried to get me to pay for something that I didn't have to.

I do not trust them to do the right thing. Good Luck!!
