As per title, should I force ENABLE TRIM in terminal on a new 2016 MBP or just leave it alone?
It's already working for the built-in SSD.
There's no need as it comes with TRIM enabled out of the box. trimforce is only needed to enable TRIM when attaching an external SSD using Thunderbolt, or upgrading an existing Mac with a 3rd-party SSD internally.
Enable if running external SSDs through an interface that supports TRIM (Thunderbolt and eSATA do, USB does not, I do not believe FireWire does but am not 100% sure with that one)
Thanks for responses
