wow. so the raiders may actually be good!

I told all my 49er friends an coworkers 3 years ago, "watch them, the Raiders are back on the upswing, just give them 2-3 years." They all laughed and said no way.. they are the Raiders.

I could tell by the way they started drafting and working FA.

Much the way the Titans are now as well. Give the Titans 1-2 more years and they will be in the mix of all of it once again.

That's the NFL for you, sometimes a team will beat a great playoff caliber team one week then lose to a crappy bottom of the barrel team the next week. It's why the sport is so popular despite Goddell's best attempts to sabotage it.
Unless you're the Jets....

Brady knee problems and Gronk out for maybe the whole season not looking forward to this weekend as a Pats fan.

Broncos well nothing to be worried with that monster defense.

Also surprised by how good Leveon Bell already is guy has massive potential hope Pats can somehow get him once his contract is up

cbssports is reporting that Ryan is on the hot seat and may be fired as soon as today.

I don't believe they'll can him today, and I think he's done a decent job with Buffalo, though I think owners hired him to do a great job, not decent.

For what its worth, the players continue to play for him, and that should count for something.

I wish I shared your confidence. The Broncos have a very difficult remaining 3 games: Patriots, @ Chiefs, Raiders. With our anemic offense, I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see the Broncos lose all 3 of those games and finish 8-8 and out of the playoffs.

All those people that criticized Peyton Manning and said that anyone can win with that defense are now seeing things for what they are.... There's no substitute for having one of the greatest football minds under center, even though his arm was failing him, he still knew how to shorten games for the other team, put the offense in position to make the most of what the defense was giving them and make smart decisions when the game was on the line.

Jeff Fisher fired by the Rams.

Maybe a good thing considering they play in Seattle Thursday.
I just saw this on ESPN, and its odd that they'd drop the hammer on him during a short week.

Of course Seattle had nothing to fear with the Rams, regardless of who coached them

As did Seattle Sunday.

:p

Seahawks didn't necessarily give up, all the receivers just seemed to have terrible hand-eye-ball coordination. Also don't know why Alex Collins is still on the active roster, dudes a fumble machine. A running back can't be successful when they fumble the ball anytime they get hit.
