Well we saw what happened last time the #1 Offense went up against the #1 Defense.
This year's number defense isnt the kinda of number 1 defense you saw the other years and the falcons offense is killing it so my money would still go on the falcons.

Wow, both games were blow outs, I was not expecting the Pats to tear the steelers apart like they did.

I think the Falcons are a team that will be difficult to beat. Their offense looks potent and explosive.

Well, that was disappointing as a Steelers fan. However, the better team won. I don't like the Patriots, but I see Brady as one of the best of all time and Bill is the best coach ever in my opinion. Hoping for a close SB!

Boy was I wrong on My PREDICTION, this has probably been the most boring playoffs ever. With that being said, Lets go FALCONS!!!!!!

I want the Falcons to win, because I'm scared if they lose, Kyle Shanahan will change his mind in becoming the HC with the 49ers lol.

According to RealGM, George Paton seems to be the front runner for the GM position...Well, if the Vikings draft class is any indication, I think he may be a good fit. As long as he and Shanahan work together to build this team.

One more note, I'm not sure why the Niners pushed for Gus Bradley when none of the team's current defensive personnel fit Bradley's 4-3 scheme. It seems that the Niners may end up retaining Jim O'neal. SMFH.

Oh please because I wrote a comment about them in a message thread about football they are living in my head? they happen to be one of the last 4 teams left to talk about.... that's the kind of smug everyone is thinking of us attitude that makes Pats fans and the team so disliked outside of boston... perfect example

If it was one comment, I wouldn't have bothered. Fact is, you're constantly going on about the Patriots and endlessly making disparaging comments about Patriots fans. How would it be if I assumed all Jets fans were like these guys?

yeah but when Goddell was being a sock puppet for Kraft you weren't complaining right? when all the spygate tapes were destroyed because Goddell was a guest at kraft's house for holiday parties, he wasn't a problem then right?

I actually don't like that Kraft supported Goodell when the league railroaded other teams (Miami, New Orleans, etc). NFL owners are a petty bunch, Kraft included. Don't assume I support everything Kraft has ever done because he owns the Patriots. I couldn't care less if the spygate tapes were destroyed or not. They were tapes of defensive coordinators giving signals and cheerleaders shaking it. I'd actually prefer they had not destroyed the tapes, since so much of the tinfoil-hat nonsense surrounding spygate is based on that decision.

As far as yesterday goes, I was honestly shocked at the performances by GB and the Steelers. I really thought both teams would be more competitive. I think GB just had too many injuries pile up and Tomlin couldn't adjust to losing Bell - which is a major blow. The guy is an elite player. Should be a good Super Bowl. The Atlanta offense is a juggernaut, but their defense is not great (2nd most points allowed by a SB team, per Scott Kacsmar of Football Outsiders). Could turn into a real shootout with a great ending.

Gb and falcons were suppose to be a shoot out. The falcons defense has been improving the whole season and is now playing hard and fast. Falcons 35 patriots 27

I was really glad to see the Falcons beat the Packers and the Pats beat the Steelers. I'll be happy with whoever wins the Superbowl. I think Matt Ryan is a great player and I love his attitude. It would be awesome to see him, Julio Jones, and the rest of the team get a ring. On the other hand, I don't think you can argue with Brady's greatness and it would also be cool to see him get another championship and with it the undisputed title of greatest QB to ever play the game.

I think the most exciting thing about this matchup is going to be seeing how Belichick game plans for the Falcons offense. They did a good job of scheming for Antonio Brown. Can they neutralize Julio Jones in a similar manner? Sanu stepped up big time in the championship game and Freeman/Coleman are one of the best RB tandems in the league. On the other side, heck it's the Patriots and Tom Brady. They just seem to have a stronger will to win and do so consistently with their "next man up" culture. Case in point, Hogan went off this weekend. All in all, I think it has the potential to be an incredible game, possibly one of the best Superbowls we've seen in a while.

Gotta say I love everybody is somehow writing the Pats off. Makes absolutely no sense but I'd love for them to somehow be the underdog. I believe they're favored by 3 tho...

Yup up to the falcons to beat the Patriots. I'm thinking it will happen. There isn't a defense in the nfl right now that can stop the falcons offense and that includes new England's "number one defense" which is only number one because earl Thomas got injured.

I wouldn't say that. The 2001 Rams offense (Greatest Show On Turf) was near impossible to stop and were heavily favoured to beat the Patriots and we all know how that turned out. The Falcons offense has been absolutely amazing but if there's one defense that could stop a high powered offense, it's a Bill Belichick-led defense.

Remember, defense wins championships, offense sells tickets.

I want the Falcons to win because I don't like the Patriots. But it would still be amazing to see Brady win yet another Super Bowl. It's not often you see this type of success, definitely something to remember regardless of what you think of the Patriots.

I want them to win because I don't like Brady and it would be cool to see an ex Seattle coach win 2 Super Bowls with 2 different teams.

You mean Matt Patricia led defense, the guy is a stud as a defensive coordinator.

If I wasn't a fan of them I'd be sick of watching them play in Superbowls too.

I am so glad the Cheese Heads went down! Loved how Aaron Rodgers was getting a little butt hurt towards the end of the game. Solidifies my opinion of him as a whiny, poor losing, self centered, butt head!

Glad to see that team from Pitt go down too! Loved it.

Pulling for the Falcons on this one only because they have not won one!

Poor losing? The guy is the most talented qb to probably ever step foot on an NFL field. Don't get me wrong Tom Brady is the Greatest Qb of all time but Rodgers Talent and his presence in an NFL pocket is like no other. I would be whiny too that my defense lets up 30 something points a game. I am not a packer fan but its hard to complain about Aaron Rodgers.

Never questioned his ability. Well his defense gave up some points, but his offense didn't put up enough. I can't stand him hence my post. I was so glad to see them lose and to see him get a little testy towards the end was just icing on the cake for me and strengthened my opinion about him.
