2016 256GB MacBook Pro or 2017 128GB MacBook Pro?

I am considering buying a MacBook Pro, with Best Buy having a very nice sale right now, I am wondering if I should buy the $999 128GB MacBook Pro 2017 or get a used, but in great condition 2016 256GB MacBook Pro off of eBay. Is the 2016 worth considering for the extra space? Or is the 2017 worth considering because its the newest model and would be new instead of used.

Where is the used one from ? Apple refurbished? If so get the 2016 model for more storage. I would suggest the new one at bestbuy if not for the one year warranty

Is 128 GB enough for you? If so, then get the new 2017.

If 128 GB is not enough, then save up and get a 256 GB Apple-refurbished 2017.

I don't think I'd want to buy a used $1000 laptop off eBay.

Just get a 2017 256gb, don’t buy a used computer lol especially if you’re likely to keep it for 5+ years. The money you spend will be worth it in the future.
