With these throttling issues: How much faster is the highend 15'' with i9 actually compared to a late 2016 base model 13'' nTB with 2.0ghz?

It seems the i9 isn't even that much faster then if it doesn't even operate on base frequency at heavy tasks?

And nobody needs i9 2.9ghz base frequency when just browsing internet anyway.

If a 2016 turbo boosts to nearly 3ghz which I tested actually working then a i9 is throttling and actually slower in many circumstances than the base models?

Any idea? That would be incredible if true.
 
6 core i9 vs 2 core i5 / i7.

It's gonna be at least 3x faster in terms of CPU utilizing tasks.

For basic usage such as email, office, browsing, you won't notice a difference.
