If these are going from Shanghai straight to Anchorage the plane doesn't leave till Monday evening in Shanghai. And that would make it impossible for 14th delivery as it doesn't arrive in Kentucky till the early morning of the 15th. For those that are shipped let us know where the next scan is and then you should be easily able to track the plane. They maybe will go Shanghai to somewhere else in Asia before Anchorage to make the 14th estimate people are seeing. Mine hasn't shipped yet but was P4S since Thursday. Hoping I also get a scan soon and make it on whatever ends up being the earliest flight.

If it's on the flight that's currently in the air, it will arrive in Anchorage around 1:00 pm EST today. Plenty of time to get to Louisville and then NC for me by Monday.

I have not.
But I have had it held for pickup. I've had it held at a customer service center which is 15 min from my house. That is where they sort so it's usually there when they open at 8:30.

I've also had it held at a UPS retail store. In that case, it's not ready until they get their delivery. The store I've done gets it about 2:00.
You need photo ID that matches the package shipping.

I have not. Normally I have it held at my local UPS hub. That way I can pick it up at 9:00 am. My UPS deliveries don't normally come until around 3:30 pm.

Woke up to this

Nothing at all for a 13 BTO to NYC. Nothing at all even though it was ordered twenty minutes after keynote ended

I'm so jealous of those of you getting your machines next week. I'm anxious for the embargo to be lifted and start reading some reviews and actually getting to touch one in store. It's going to be a long 5 weeks as I wait for mine to be delivered. Enjoy!!

I noticed it while checking my order status yesterday evening. Did also get an email from Apple later during the night.

The most annoying thing is that I actually called the Apple Store DK during the week because I was concerned that the amount would be larger than allowed on my Visa card (25.000 dk kr). The support person was either too clueless or too lazy to take action on the upcoming issue. Oh well....

Yeah i think 25.000 dk kr. is standard maximun for a month for most banks in dk.

I have not been charged yet but think i will hit the limit also. So was curious how you did find out the payment wasnt succesfull. So we will see if apple sends me an email about creditcard issues to.

I have no source other than speculation. However, just one of these 747s can ship at least 75,000 MacBook Pros. Based on a 747 having proved it can ship 600,000 iPhones. I figure a MacBook Pro takes up the space of 8 iPhones at most.

Which would be about in the neighborhood of $150,000,000 in MacBook Pros. I sure hope he or she is an excellent pilot!

I have a feeling the ones shipping now will be held back until the 16th by UPS at the request of Apple.

Though I'm sure some will slip through the net.

The fact that Best Buy, Apple shipment notices, and other retailers were all quoting the 16th surely isn't a coincidence.

SO I GUESS SINCE IT IS 9 PM IN CHINA, NO MOVEMENT WILL OCCUR TODAY?

From what I can gather these will either leave Monday 9:30PM china time or hopefully they will move from Shanghai to Shenzhen on Sunday (that would show movement sometime Saturday in the US). Then leaving Shenzhen at 11:30PST or 2:30AM EST on Sunday morning.

EDIT: Actually I misread the data, the Shenzhen flight leaves 3:30AM. So that would be mid day today in the US. However I don't see any UPS flights going from Shanghai to Shenzhen. Maybe they use a different flight or method in China.
