I'm wondering the same thing ! I'm having mine shipped to an apple store in montreal, but I really wanna track it

That's annoying. I'm on FEDEX.
 
I got a shipping notification this morning as well for my 15" model. I'm trying to change the delivery address to my office, but the My UPS site is saying there's a problem. Not really sure what to do about that.

I just got an email and text that my 13" BTO shipped via FedEx, delivers by 16th. I wish it would have been UPS because in my experience, even if a package arrives early FedEx will not deliver it early. They will not even let you pick it up. I am in Kansas.

In the ups app and I can't figure out what hub it is going to, or if they got the message from apple and it will indeed be held there. Any experience out there on picking up apple packages from ups hubs? How do I find my hub?

BTO is built to order. Once you have the tracking number you can call ups to hold it rather than trying to deliver.
This may be the hub where it will be held3360 N SAN FERNANDO RD, LOS ANGELES, CA
 
Just got the shipment notification from UPS, arriving the 15th. Still says "Preparing for shipment" on the Apple site, but UPS says it has departed Shanghai.

13" touchbar, customized. Ordered on launch day (10/27).

I've had that happen. In fact, I can't change mine either. I've found if I try again after an update or two, the change will go through.
 
13" BTO to Canada - went to Preparing for Shipment a few days ago - nothing new.

BUT I just went to UPS site and used the "Track by Reference" feature using my phone number and it shows it left China today and will be delivered by Wednesday.

Ordered on the 27th.

Anyone have any idea when this embargo is going to end so I can see a few reviews of this monstrously expensive thing I have already paid for?

Same issue too on my end. Mine is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday (I received order confirmation at 2:58 PM EDT the day it was announced...not sure which ones are being delivered tomorrow).

I tried changing mine to be held at the UPS Customer Center, but couldn't do it online. I called UPS, and apparently a delivery change can't be done if the package hasn't arrived in the U.S.; mine is still in China? I don't recall this being an issue before. Seems odd.

You can't change it until it leaves China and gets scanned for arrival in US. I was able to edit it as soon as it left Alaska.

by those of us who has a departure scan for ups my choice,
is it really shipped? or that is just a schedule because nothing shows on apple website
besites,
any one know when will the plane take off?

Is this restriction new for UPS? I seem to recall changing UPS delivery options for other Apple items before it arrived in the U.S. (but I could be wrong).
 
Stock 13" touch bar went to PFS on Friday night. Still no movement here to shipping. I tried tracking by reference as well. Did not work.
 
Shipping confirmation on my 15" BTO (2.7/460/1TB) via UPS, scheduled for delivery on the 17th in Southern California. Going to be a long 4 days - I'm just glad it went out UPS; Fedex always shows up much later in the day here.
