2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Apple is an American Company, if they favour there home market, then its not different to other companies.

We will get our laptops when they get here. relax people, its just a laptop

Mine went from China to Japan then to Alaska. It's saying it will be delivered tomorrow (Chicago area). Hard to believe it will make it here in time.

That's not the problem. If they want to do that, fair enough! But tell us! Don't just give everyone the impression that they're all in the same place in the queue.

Lucky for us UPS works while we sleep. Your MBP will probably arrive to Chicago, get sorted and put onto a truck before you wake up! Any small hiccup in the chain though, and you'll have Wed as a delivery date instead.

Not sure about Vancouver, but here at Toronto, it's a one hour direct flight from KSDF to YYZ.
So, let's assume it's the same case for packages to Vancouver.

UPS81 will arrive at KSDF on Tuesday 15 at 1:03AM EST

UPS990 will depart from KSDF on Tuesday 15 at 2:54AM EST, arrive at Seattle then after roughly 1hr20mins layover UPS490 will go straight to YVR and arrive at 6:30AM PST TUESDAY 15

Tell that to Koreans and Samsung :p Sammy works differently

edit for more context: Sammy regularly gives away free tablets and whatnot with refrigerator and TV purchases in the US, the first time Sammy gave anything free in Korea was the VR promotion

Same positive date change occurred with mine. I don't believe those available for pickup on the 17th are shipped yet, maybe later today or tomorrow from the US perspective. My inability to track mine with a reference number is what I'm basing that on. I am expecting pickup to be available on the 17th and not earlier.

Well mine does say it shipped so I expect that it's shipping now. You're saying that yours says it shipped but you can't track it with your reference # they gave you? (I'm assuming you didn't order in store pickup then)
 
Hmm, it says that UPS105 is scheduled in 24 minutes, which would make the time of departure 6:48 PM EST instead of 7:05 PM EST. I like that idea.

AH! Thanks! Dang, I don't think I'll have an earlier delivery than the 16th lol. I wonder if I can get it on the 15th if I choose to pick it up at the Customer Centre literally a few blocks from the airport...
 
My shipping date to NY got moved up today from 11/16 to 11/15 - 13" Touch Bar base model. Coming via UPS from Harrisburg PA

Due to the nature of this shipment(High value), for some reasons, for Canadians like us, we're not able to pickup from UPS facility, not until first delivery attempt. For me, if i change delivery to an UPS Access point, it will only add one more day to original ETA, guess i can do nothing but wait at home.

Same as you, right after Keynote, BTO 15", to California via FedEx. Latest update is 3:29 In Transit Shanghai CN
