anyone in the 3-4 weeks got prepare for shipment ?
[doublepost=1479209359][/doublepost]Mine too, 3-4 week delivery estimate, spoke to Apple Customer Support and got expedited delivery date of 23 Nov to 1 Dec. But still says 'Order processing'.

Re-direct you hopes and wishes! Instead of hoping for an early arrival of your new MacBook Pro, hope that when it arrives it actually works! My 15’’ arrived yesterday, Monday, at noon, and I’m returning it to the Apple Store today at noon. They got it almost right, 98.5% right: 63 of the 64 keys work. But the i-key most of the time types the letter twice. I suggest you test out your keyboard thoroughly. With auto-correct it can be easy to think it works. However, my password contains the letter i, and I quickly became super frustrated not being able to get my password right. So take a document, turn off auto-correct, and check all the keys. (Come to think about it, maybe that's why they added Touch ID, so you don't need the keyboard for passwords;-).

My BTO 15' Space Grey went from Shanghai to Anchorage to Ontario, CA. Its now left there and I'm assuming its on its way to Vancouver BC at least I hope... wouldn't really make any sense to go to Louisville and then to Vancouver.

  • A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Your shipment is scheduled to arrive today after the delivery commitment time.

Come on Apple, you never failed on me with delivering the fresh apple goodies on the first day of the delivery time frame, make miracles come true and manage my order to go from processing to "delivers tomorrow" (same applies to all other waiters here!) :( Every youtube video i watch just makes me want my space gray 15" more and more ...

Welll they finally charged me. I'm confident it's going to get here by the 17th now, maybe sooner since they like to keep us ship to store people in the dark. 13 in BTO delivered to a NYC store. Hope you Europeans hear some good news

Okay, so while this might sound stupid, it really looks like Apple is literally shipping these waves by Continent? First all of the Americans got lucky, now it seems to be shipping to Australia, with Europeans still waiting?

Wtf?

For the 2nd time. Australia is the 2nd largest region of Apple's market share. EU is only half of Australia's market share.

Hmm. Looks like flight UPS 1326 from Louisville to Orlando has been delayed a half an hour or so. FlightAware link.

It's 38°F/3°C with clear skies in Louisville, so it doesn't appear weather is the delay. Hopefully this isn't a big enough delay to postpone my delivery today.

Looks like we landed around 6:15 and then it went back to "departure" which in my case is normal. It'll then show something such as "At local facility" and then "Out for delivery"

YAY Orlando! (but boo for a day "late" compared to others)

EDIT: Out for delivery at 7:07 AM

Anyone from France here who didn't get charged yet ?

I am starting to worry. I ordered 10 minutes after the keynote ended and my delivery status is 24th of November to the 1st of December.

I'm just "pre-charged". They told me they were currently building ours. Yesterday, they told me it should arrive in a week, but I'm in the 18-24 November window.

Do you have a link to that data?

I can only find something which shows OS X market share in Australia being second next to America, but that does not equate to sales it simply means that their market share in that market is X% of the total.

That is to say, as far as I understand it (and I could be wrong) that it's a much smaller market so there are less sales overall and Apples market share of those sales is high; that does not mean that they sell more units in that country, just that they have a higher proportion of market.

Europe on the other hand is a much larger market in terms of potential sales, so although market share may be lower total sales may be an order of magnitude higher.

Unless you have a specific source for how many units of OS X they sell per continent?
