2016 Macbook pro Retina release

Looking into a new 15inch macbook pro purchase and was wondering when do you all think the release of the skylake models will be released? I've been putting off this purchase for a while now, thinking the newer models would be out sooner but I guess not.

Any feedback?

most people say either march or june.

The new models will be out when intel release the appropriate chips (march on their timeline) however they may wait a month or so for the new architecture AMD graphics as well and then june would be more likely.

No one knows for sure, and like birds returning in the spring, so do these threads asking about when apple will release the new MBP model. Every year the same question is asked and the answer is the same - we really don't know. The buyer's guide here at MR is useful and will show when the prior releases occured
