Hi Guys, not too sure whether you guys encountered this problem before. So my laptop is officially a year and a month old roughly and yesterday i encountered this two issues, which happened out of no where. Wondering if anyone could help

- After restarting my mac, i cant seem to be able to type at the login screen, everytime i press a button, there is just a 'bong' sound. Have to hold down the alt button then typing works. In addition to this, when ever i use for touch pad, it seems as if i have right click (right click options appear). Even when i logged in, this two problems persist.

What i have tried :

1. re-setting the pram etc.
2. reinstalling the os
3. wiping and reinstalling the os- through web recovery and normal recovery

*do note that this problem does not persist while in recovery or while installing the OS.
*Have check out the accessibility tab and everything is switch off/default.

nope, i even tried it with my mouse (right click option for any click), and the same thing happens. Never used a wireless keyboard ever.

Sounds like maybe a hardware failure of the keyboard. If you have a usb keyboard lying around see if plugging that in works. If you can type with the USB keyboard then I don't beleive the problem is related to the OS but the keyboard itself.

Do you have AppleCare on the laptop?

Do not have Apple care anymore, plugged in a keyboard but same problem still exists ! Sigh, it’s only a year and a month! This really sucks
