My MacBook just went out of warranty & the SSD drive failed. This was my wife's & she only used it on a few occasions so I was rather surprised that it failed. Took it to apple & ran about $600 to repair. It's the same symptoms as the extended warranty SSD failures on other MacBooks...bad controller.
