I've had my TB 2016 MBP 15" for about a few weeks now. I am starting to love it despite some small nagging issues.

While the display on the new MBP in terms of brightness and colors are excellent, the viewing angles seem somewhat worse off on the new MBP when compared to the old ones. And this is probably because of the slight matte anti-glare finish.

If you move your head left or right you can see a difference in brightness unless you are looking straight at it. It doesn't bother me as such but just wondering if others have noticed it as well?

Hi dashwin,

My 15" 2016 TB MBP is the same. Perfect screen in terms of uniformity with great colour and brightness (brightness turned right up), but on pages with a lot of white on you need to be looking at it straight on to avoid a very slight brightness difference.

It doesn't bother me at all, as with past experience of other apple screens this is a great screen.

Have you found the OS on the TB model to be quite buggy? I have found it quite glitchy and at times have had to restart to get things working again. Been using Macs since 2008 and this is by far the most unstable!
