I am also new to USB-C, is this just simply a case of replacing the USB-A to USB-B cable supplied, with a USB-C to USB-B? And it will just work?

I expect latency will be negligible between this and a direct connection. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Device...UTF8&qid=1486510033&sr=1-3&keywords=USB+c+hub As an Amazon Associate, MacRumors earns a commission from qualifying purchases made through links in this post. I'll grab a cable. I'm trying to avoid docks and dongles as I think they are a messy solution. I wasn't sure if the dongles did anything special or were dumb and just changing connector shape As an Amazon Associate, MacRumors earns a commission from qualifying purchases made through links in this post.
