2016 MBP: Problems with Down arrow button?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums and would like to request a quick sanity check from other 2016 MBP owners, please.

Basically, my problem is that the down arrow key only registers a press if I hit it right in the center of the button. If I press along the bottom of the key, I can actually make it "click" without registering as a press on the system.

Can someone else with the 2016 MBP confirm if your down key works regardless of where you press it?

I spent quite some time with the demo MBP 15" in an apple store and the down arrow key has exactly the same problem, for instance, in excel, all other arrow keys work well, but I have to press down arrow key hard to make it responsive. Well mine work fine no matter where you press them.

I know the keyboards take a day of typing to stop being rigid and over-clicky.
