Wondering if we can collate all bugs and weird issues into one thread.

Please join in by posting any you have encountered in this thread (please also specify your specs) and please include photos if you have any.

Mine:

15", 2.9Ghz, 512GB, 4GB GPU, 16GB ram

I've had:

- Weird screen issues where the picture is all muddled up (about 4 times)
- "Your computer was restarted because of a problem" (2 or 3 times)
- Jerky motion when going to mission control via a hot corner. Oddly, this fixes it (tho obviously not a solution) (contestant issue).

Apart from that it seems to be ok ...touches wood! :p

Been in touch with tech support, here's parts of our conversation:

I'm experiencing several issues.

1) On 3 or 4 occasions the Mac has "restarted because of a problem" (when I've sent the report it mentioned 'panic'). I've also noticed this has happened when I've connect it to my new LG 5K Ultrafine.

2) A few times on waking the laptop from sleep has just left me with a black screen - so I've had to hard restart the machine for it to come back on.

3) On a few occasions the screen has become jumbled up (I've got photos of this).

4) There is very jerky animation when I go to mission control via a hot corner.

5) When quick-viewing a document the animation to 'expand' it works, but it then disappears)

Okay. I’m going to make two recommendations. However, I’m going to be frank about them. I believe that they are necessary for due diligence so that we can ultimately say that we’ve done them to satisfy the requirements of support to refer you to service properly. That said, it is entirely possible that one or both of these recommendations might be successful.

The first is to reset the NVRAM. The second is to run the Disk Utility > First Aid from the macOS Recovery mode.

I said:
If these don't work does that mean it is a hardware issue?

They said:
Possibly. Apple has heard some reports of this display/waking issue and that it is currently under review, but I don’t have a final word as to whether it is software or hardware related at this time.

I'm going to send this one back and get the 1TB version instead... will report back if it has the same issues.

So, I'm definitely having a hard time getting back in when I've closed it and returned. Sometimes it takes minutes to get it to pay attention to the fact I'm trying to access it and let me in, whether I'm touchbarring or using the password. :| it also sometimes is just refusing to reopen. Argh.
