2016 MBP with TB turning on without pressing the button?

The machine just starts on its own as soon as I open the laptop without pressing the power button. Is this normal? If so, is there a setting that I can change to stop this from happening?

It's a new feature with those new MacBook Pros w/ TouchBar but you can turn it off via Terminal:
