2016 MPB 13" vs 2015 MBP 15" - Which should I buy?

The touch bar may matter for graphics users but considering how many people still happily use the likes of vim and gmacs I doubt it will make a big difference for coding. On the other hand the bigger screen will make for a better user experience. I also find the 13 to have some UI lag. At any rate I was making a similar choice and chose to get the same spec 15 you are considering. It really comes down to how much mobility you need. My usage was taking it into a backpack to go to the Starbucks for a couple hours and the extra 1lb per shoulder did not make a difference.

Yeah. I think both are great options. Personally, I think both will most likely exceed my performance requirements. So it's really down to the weight and how significant the new features on the MBPs are. I have yet to try the new MBPs in person since my local Apple stores don't have them in yet
