2016 or 2017 MBP

I purchased a 2016 MBP yesterday at Fry's Electronics on sale for $1000 but wondering if it's worth the extra few hundred dollars to return/exchange for the 2017.

Coming off a 2008 Pro even the '16 is a giant upgrade but for only $300 is it worth the 2017?

Any advice is much appreciated.
