Helo.

I recently upgraded my imac 27 inch and i aded 16 gb of ram to the stock 8 gb

in total i have 24 gb ram.

I had some trouble with the installation.. i couldn't get the computer to boot and then when i got the computer to boot , i couldn't get it to recognize the memory.

i tired different configurations putting the memory in different spots.

i finally got it to work. the machine recognizes the 24 gb of ram.

my question is ... is there anything i should do to test the new memory to make sure it fully works?

ive been using the computer as normal and everything seems fine.

no. you likely didn't put them in correctly the first time.

if you're anal about it, run the hardware test (press D at startup).

Did you use Crucial or OWC modules?

If not tell us aboutn them, and often you need to use some force seating the modules until they click in.
