2017 27" RAM Configurations

Can anyone confirm the 2017 27" iMac BTO 16GB & 32 GB RAM configurations. For example, does Apple ship the BTO 16GB option with 2x8GB DIMMs or 4x4GB DIMMs?

My 2015 has four 8GB DIMMs from the factory so I presume the 2017 model is the same.

My late 2012 had 2x8GB so I ordered my new one at work with 16GB and will install another 2x8GB when it arrives.

I ordered 16GB in my 2017 due next week so when it gets here I will see, but I expect it to be 2x8GB.

One if the big features IMHO of the 27" is that it has user upgradable RAM slot. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of that and get the stock 8GB RAM and then add in your own 16GB or 32 kit. I have the stock 8GB installed + a Corsair 16GB kit. Works fantastic and only cost me a bit over $100. MUCH less than what Apple charges for just 16GB and I have a total of 24GB rather than 16.

Just to add to the post above me. Stock was 2 x 4GB in my otherwise maxed out Late 2015 and still is in the new ones as I read here many times.
