2017 iMac Assembly?

Just noticed my 27" BTO was 'Assembled in USA?'

I was under the impression only the Mac Pro was assembled here?

Ah yes. Mine says that too. I guess that explains why it shipped from California.

BTO iMacs have long had final assembly done in the USA and Cork, Ireland.

(Though you can bet nearly every component was from somewhere else...)
