Hello hope anyone can help.

I have a 2017 macbook pro with a 128gb ssd in at the moment and been trying to clone it the last few days to a 256gb ssd. Now my problem is i use superduper but i dont have one of those ssds it came out with so i got a ngff converter and a small samsung m.2 nvme. My problem is that the mac boots from external ssd and i put new ssd into internal slot and then i use super duper to clone. Picks it up but after to minutes it just restarts by itself and never clones at all. It is not the converter as i have tried another 128gb transcent ssd and works perfecly. But my samsung one and micron 256gb ssd just makes the mac restart when i want to clone. If anyone knows what it could be please help me.
