Anyone else with a 2017 MacBook having issues connecting video and power via USB-C? My monitor is a Acer H277HU that never gave me issues with the 2015/2016 models. With the 2017, I need to use a HDMI USB-C adapter to get video to show on my external monitors. Before, I was able to get video and power through a single USB-C cable.

Reached out to both Acer and Apple and neither were of any help. Just curious if anyone else is having similar issues...

According to Amazon H277HU review page, all 2017 Mac line productions are not compatible with this monitor.

I have this monitor, it works fine with all other usb-c devices include my friends Lumia phone. I suspect this is an Apple driver issue.
