2017 MBA on Catalina-Fonts Too Thin?

using a MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2018).
i do think the system font (like as seen in the System Preferences pane under each icon) has gotten thinner. so i think you are correct in that it has become thinner.
but i actually like it very much.
