I just recently replacement my father's 2011 MBA for a 2015 so that he could run Monterey. It cost me $230 (£192.83). I believe the 2017 is not much different, just some slight spec increases over the 2015. It has 8GB and a 256GB SSD. Market here in the US may be better but I thought I would provide a basis for comparison.

if you store a lot of your content in the cloud...128GB is so little. but if you're doing basic documents, email, and not photos and music, etc... should be ok enough. look at your current computer and see how much space you're using...

It’s a good price. As long as you’re willing to accept there’s a world of difference between an Intel and a 2021 M1 Air (we have one of each). It is certainly a competent machine.
