Anyone tested or seen any reviews of the 2018 rMBP paired with the 5K 27-inch LG display. The previous gens could be a bit laggy. Better internal GPU on the new model. Deciding between a 4k and 5K. Would prefer the 5k for space, but would rather have the 4k if smoother.

I own both the 4k and 5k display I appreciate the larger size for my Lightroom work and my 2016 13-inch have no issues with both displays

You run both simultaneously with the 2016 13-inch and there's no issue/lag/stutter?
I have a 2017 nTB 13" and mine will start to show some choppiness/stuttering with a 1080p monitor plugged in...Its not as powerful as a 13" TB, but I feel like a 4k monitor will be a huge load on any 13" MBP w/o a dGPU.

It shouldnt have any issue with 1080p. How are you connecting it?

So, anyone using 2018 13-inch with LG UltraFine 5K? Any lag/stutter or any other issue?

I'm interested in this as well. Especially a comparison in terms of sluggishness between the i5 and i7 models attached to 4K or 5K displays would be useful.
