concerning? Had to power off it would not go away. That white block at the top was my mouse cursor...I could move it around. I am within my return period.

Hard to say for a one off man. But if it isn’t too inconvenient to swap it, go ahead and do so. You will have less stress going forward with a new one rather than worrying if what you experienced was a one off or symptomatic of a bigger problem.
