My 35-day-old MBP, running Mojave 10.14.2, suffers a screen freeze whenever I'm watching a YouTube video and click on Mail to check my mail. It may freeze at other times, but that's the only one I've noticed. The cursor moves as directed by the track pad, but clicks do not result in any action. The only way to clear the freeze (that I've found to date) is to shut down and restart.

Any suggestions, other than take it to an Apple Store?

ive had mine freeze twice now when just randomly scrolling the internet. mouse froze, touchpad stopped clicking, closing the lid was not even recognized, the screen just stayed on when it was closed, had to force restart. Im not concerned yet, but more than once is definitely a pattern and I will be paying more close attention. please update here with whatever happens, im definitely curious!

Jefe, my MBP has done this freeze thing twice. I'm going out of town for a month, so I'll be watching it carefully. Fortunately there is an Apple Store at my destination (Santa Barbara, CA), so if problems continue I'll check in there and plead my case. I will definitely keep you advised of the situation.
