IMO, it will called just "iPhone" & "iPhone Plus", deleting all of the numbers to make it simple (because this is Apple), like 2017 ipad pro that didn't got the "iPad Pro 2" naming.

But i'm still confusing, what the "mid & low-end" model (6.1 inch LCD) will be called ? let me know your opinion.

Diclaimer: I think you shouldn't make it too serious, because c'mon, it just the name.

It won't be labeled 'the iPhone and iPhone Plus' for the OLED models. Apple will continue on with the numbering system as they always have. The numbering system is extremely important in the iPhone line up and it shows how to age the lower tier models from the newest iPhone.

Also, the iPad is a separate entity and I would not compare that to how the iPhone is labeled.

I think they will continue calling it iPhone X and either adding some sort of name to it (like they did with cats and US landmarks on Mac OS) or just iPhone X. From what I have seen with Apple, once they start using the X they never seem to stop using it.

6.5 inch iPhone: Ginorma
6.1 inch LCD one : Malakazoomba
5.8 inch : Hokomalta

Why not iPhone XI, its a natural progression from the X, and it maintains the convention of numerically increasing numbers.

They could go the AW route can call it the iPhone X, series [insert number]. I get the feeling Apple is going to stick with "X" for awhile. I thought maybe they'd move to a word name but after reading post-release interviews by Ive and others I think "X" will be with us for some time as the marker between the LED and OLED models.

I believe Apple will continue with the roman numeral system with the new iPhones, as they started with X this year.....and probably discontinue using the regular numbers (7, 8, etc.)

Roman numerals get too complicated for the average person. I have no idea what Super Bowl we’re on, XXXLVILIII?
