So i just bought a 2018 mac mini, I7 1 T drive 32 gig ram...
I've was using 2 magic mice with my MacBook pro and they were working fine
but they are very Herky jerky with my mini, is this because the mice are too old,
new bluetooth on the mini? what gives?

Use either a:
- Logitech wireless mouse (these don't use bluetooth)
or
- A plain ol' wired mouse...

... and your problems will disappear!

I just didn't know if it was because these are old mice. Got used to controlling video from the couch..now half the time it doesn't connect. weird.

There seems to be various Bluetooth related issues for some users on the forum using Apple mice/keyboards on recent Minis and iMacs. May be interference with other software or USB3 devices. Either was a cheap Logitech mouse worked for me - uses a usb dongle and some other wireless mechanism.
