I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) and in the process to buy a external USB-C display. I'm debating between a DCI-P3 98% vs sRGB 99% display.

Question: is the display color difference substantial under regular use (e.g. internet, Photos, Finder usage) or will only certain applications take advantage of the P3 wide color gamut? Specifically because my built-in MacBook Pro display has P3 and I really like how vibrant the colors are. Am I now spoiled when I hook-up a sRGB 99% display?

Does HDR10 makes a difference?

I debating between these two display:

No, most sites don’t have content for P3 anyway. The only content you can get are the photos you took with your iPhone.

HDR for LCD displays is a gimmick, don’t bother with HDR until you get a 10-bit OLED display.

Thanks for the advice. What display would you recommend? Looking for 4K, 27inch and USB-C.

Actually hdr is a bit rubbish on Oled. Because they don’t get bright enough. Although they do display colour gamut and contrast much better.
