My 2018 13” MacBook Pro doesn’t seem to turn on or show any signs of life.

Last night I finished a meeting with it and then shut the lid. This morning I opened it up and nothing happened. I tried turning it on but nothing but a black screen and no sound or noise came from the MacBook.

I tried unplugging the charger and putting it back in any nothing not even the charger connect sound. It’s like it’s completely dead. I have tried using different charger chords but nothing seems to work.

It’s less than a year old and has been working perfectly with no problems what so ever over the past 9 or so months.

Yes it’s covered by warranty but in these times it would take forever to get it fixed or replaced.

Can anyone think of anything that has caused this or how to fix it?

Cheers,

Oliver

Hey @Oliver G - any update on this? I'm having the same issue. Black screen, keyboard would like up, and worked fine with external monitor - until a few days ago. Now it's completely dead. Who did you end up taking yours to? What was the diagnostic and fix? Thanks!
