I notice a difference, but it's hard to say which one would bother me more in day to day use. I'd probably get used to it either way and not notice as I've never really noticed what my keyboard sounds like until testing it just now to compare to that video. Although, from my testing it does seem like my 13" late 2013 rMBP is quieter than both of those models in the video. I also use a keyboard cover which might dampen the sound a bit. I actually like the cover for my typing experience. I've gotten so used to it that it feels weird to type without it. And I have a really clean keyboard.
I do kind of wonder whether Apple is training us to expect a glass keyboard. In the product intro video for the first touchbar MBP, Jony Ive said that the touchbar was just the beginning of something new with laptops.
If they can get people to accept keys that have very little travel, maybe they think people would accept glass with haptic feedback or some other as until now unknown technology. They've already decided they can eliminate an entire row of keys. The touchbar isn't above a row of keys; it replaces an entire row. I personally wouldn't want one with it because I can adjust the volume, display and keyboard brightness, etc., without looking by feel. Maybe they'll have some technology that can accommodate "feel" eventually.
