Ohio - GO BUCKEYES!
Well, I had been pretty much pleased with my 13" MBP Core I5 w/16Ram. However, I am having problems with viewing videos (particularly YouTube). Every video I watch, the audio will cut out or the video and then it will freeze. I've been testing the videos that "freeze" on new computer with my 2012 MBP 15" and the videos run without a glitch. I know they have totally different video cards, but come on Apple, Youtube??? I was asked by Apple Care to reload the software twice now, and the problem still exists. I've only had this computer five days and I'm sadly disappointed by what appears to be an anemic video card! Anyone else having this glitches? Thanks all! I'm SAD : (

Take your MBP to the nearest Apple store.

PS I also noticed your post in another thread. Are you using firefox for youtube ? Have you tried Safari?

In my case I use ghostery to remove trackers etc, this might help in your case

I'm having the same exact problem on my 13" 2018 macbook (i5 16gb ram 512gb ssd). I'm running the macOS Mojave Beta and thought it might just be the beta software but apparently this is a more widespread issue.

Edit (for clarification): It also happens on every browser, including after SMC and PRAM resets. On top of that, I'm having issues getting Siri to listen to me at all. Sometimes I get "Siri Audio Problem" popups.. sometimes nothing at all.

Dodgy T2 chip maybe?

That's definitely what I'm thinking but I'm hoping it's a software issue rather than a hardware issue. I got this computer as a replacement after my 2017 macbook had to go into repair 3 times for defective hardware. Not looking to have to go through the repair/replacement process again.

I updated to the 10.14 beta 6 (18A353d) today and all the issues that I was experiencing seem to be resolved as of now. Will update if anything changes.

I received a notification from Apple today via the feedback app in response to my bug report that the issue regarding video/audio playback is resolved in Mojave build 18A365a. I know it's not the best solution for everyone as it is beta software, but so far I have had no issues with the new build. Might be worth the upgrade if it is a serious issue- just remember to back up your stuff before you make the upgrade.
