2018 MBP and LG Ultrafine Netflix Display Error.

I'm having some issues with my 2018 MBP and Netflix. The Safari Update 12.0 seems to have messed things up. I'm having the problem on Hulu and Amazon as well. It works just fine in Chrome. Any ideas?

It's all due to HDCP.
Safari is HDCP compatible as it actually displays a higher resolution than Chrome if your bandwidth supports it.
Chrome displays lower resolutions and does not require HDCP for Netflix.

The commonest reason for the HDCP error is Airplay being turned on, as inherently it is NOT HDCP compliant. Try turning airplay off and see what happens.
