2018 MBP TB - Keyboard light bleed

Hi guys,
I bought a 2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (13").
I notice that the backlight keyboard's light is not even. Especially around the space bar. I heard other people have had similar issues.

I see what you’re saying not much light around the space bar. But there’s enough light from all the other keys to see all the keys. What about the Apple logo does it have smudges? It might be related.

I would have to say I don't see anything wrong with the backlight. I mean it won't be uniform all the way across because there is only one LED for each key (except perhaps the space bar), and different keys are different sizes. Also the membrane under the keys on the 2018 helps spread the backlight "bleeding" to the outside edges of the keys.

If you really don't like it, return it. But I don't think you will find a replacement that's any better. My 2017 13" MBP looks the same as yours. If a very very slight uneven light on the keyboard is your biggest problem, consider yourself fortunate!

all the 2018 models has the spacebar little light bleed...its because the new silicon and the new spacebar design
Spacebar has 4 leds underneath

I guess it makes sense now. It was only the space bar's uneven light that bothered me. I didn't know if it was supposed to be lit at all or if it should have been lit all the way. But it makes sense that there are 4 led's under the space bar. you can see the light emitting from those spots.
