I’ve only had it a few days but here’s my review of the LG 24” UltraFine 4K:

I bought the 24” LG UltraFine 4K display to replace the aging 23” ACD connected to my 2018 Mac Mini. So that old ACD still worked great but was not that bright and only 1920X1200. But wow! What a gorgeous display the LG is. I run it at 2304x1296 with 32GB of memory in the Mini and the display is crisp with no noticeable lag.

The 2304x1296 resolution seems perfect for this size monitor. The sweet spot for UI size and plenty of screen real estate for my needs. Sure I tweaked a few preferences including Finder view options and everything is very readable even for my old eyes. Great color, very bright, speakers sound good, and all the ports on the back are nice. I’m a retired graphic designer who still does some design work. I find the display attractive and actually like the thin black bezel. I work in Affinity Design, Affinity Photo and MacOS Photos primarily and this monitor is perfect with those apps. Sure, 27” monitors are nice but the 24” is just a bit more manageable on at least my desk top. I sit about 16-18” away and everything edge to edge is comfortably in my view.

BTW - using the Thunderboldt to Thunderboldt connection the LG lights right up on every boot of the Mini. And switching some of my peripherals from USB A to USB C plugged in the back of the display seems to have cleared up some minor Bluetooth issues I was having.
