I have a 2017 MacBook pro with a touch bar and theres a deal at Best Buy that lowers the price on the 2018 model so if I exchange it I would be paying $50 is there that big of a difference on these 2 models i use it for school and my kids do some casual gaming (fortnite) any help will be appreciated thanks in advance

I would absolutely exchange it for $50, if you can really get that deal. It's a year newer, so why not?

is it a 13 inch or 15 inch?

Does it matter if one of them is dual core and the other one is a quad core? I’m too new to this lol sorry

Two engines vs four engines. Or four cylinders vs eight cylinders. :)

Ensure that the RAM and SSD are the same or better on the newer one.

Where are you trading in your MacBook Pro to get a trade in so close to the same price as a brand new 2018?

Just curious as if it only costs $50 it’s something that’d I’d be interested in!

As a side note ... for those in the Military that shop at the NEX/PX, the 2017 and 2018 15" MacBook Pros sell for the same price. Be sure to look on the back and get the 2018 (model # A1990) vice the 2017 (Model # A1707.)

Go for it, the 2018 model is better in everything, Quad Core CPU, Keyboard, Screen (True Tone), Speakers.
