2019 16” Macbook Pro shipping box weight

Hi,

Joining the mac world after leaving pc for most of my life! I bought a 16” and 15.4” 2019 macbook pro.

I’ll be keeping one and mailing one to my wife who is across the country and taking care of her parents for the time being.

Does anyone know the exact weight of the box that each MBP come in? I’m sending a few other care package items and am
pretty close to the weight limit so wanted to see if anyone knew. I’ll be sending it brand new in the Apple box/packaging. Thank you for your help!

Not sure about the 15.4", but my 16" box was 3.80 kgs (that's with the shipping box also). I'm sure the 15.4" would be less. Hope that helps.

mine was 9.9lbs, it came double boxed
