I hope the 16" MBP is out soon in the UK. The keyboard on my Touchbar 15.4 is almost dead yet again (replaced twice already) and I am now down to two working USB-C ports and one of those not very well for anything other than power (intermittent reading of SD card reader). I know I will lose my MBP for around 10 days for its Applecare warranty repair. My daughter's previous hand me down MacBookPro is close to dead (it was never the same after an SSD problem and it has the typical IBM graphics problem, requiring the onboard graphics to be sidestepped for the Nvidia). So I would therefore buy myself a new 16" and then give her my 15.4 when it comes back from repair. She is not a heavy user like me, so it should last her a lot better than it has lasted me. I just would not buy another 15.4 with the endless keyboard problems I have had.
