Just got my 16" MBP and love it so far---The only thing is the HUGE power supply hanging out of the outlet to charge it lol, is there anything out there Reliable from other manufactures to charge these new Pro's that are much smaller?

I have a pre-order placed for this: HyperJuice

Won't be released until February, but you're not going to find anything smaller that pumps out 100W

You can try GaN chargers that are quite small but the mist power I’ve seen is 61 watts.

Good for average power users and great for overnight/suspend mode charging.

Nope. As far as 100W chargers go it isn’t that big. I guess you never had a 15” before? The charger has been the same size and shape for at least 10 years as I recall.

Im coming from a 2011 MBP 17"---its not that bad as my new one lol

Does the exstenion cords they use to include with the old MBP work with the 16MBP charger. I have two of them from my 2012 MBP. Can I use them with the 16?

As chargers go, this is small. Just look at what Lenovo, MSI, ASUS, Razer gives you.

Yes, they're totally compatible.

You want the "extension cord" (link in post 14 above this one) anyway.

It has a 3-prong grounded plug. This can eliminate the "tingly feel" that some folks get when using the charger with only 2 prongs right in the wall outlet (no ground).
It also permits "more distance" between the wall outlet and the MBP.

Get used to the "larger charger".
Bigger MBP = more power needed = sufficiently-sized charger.
