Hey everyone I am having a problem wit my 2019 IMAC I broke the screen and replaced the screen and now My Imad won't do anything its a deaD BRICK i replaced the power supply nothing changed, The 2nd LED is solid but no other LED Is on which is weird any ideas?

I was going to suggest static shock, but I don't think that's the reason. So the iMac turned on BEFORE you replaced the display, and then as soon as you did, it doesn't?

If I remember correctly: remove the power cable from the back of the iMac. Above the power socket but hidden by the circular skirt of the plug is a button. Press the button firmly - it is some kind of mechanical latch but again from memory with not much travel and no obvious “click”. Replace the power cable and try to switch on again.

Really? All I can say is that we had an iMac that consistently would not power on. After I discovered the button and pressed it - the RAM cover remained on - the next time it immediately powered on.

Is it possible that there is a safety cutout that cuts power if the RAM cover is loose, and that this action reset it? Or that the cover needs to be popped and firmly replaced?

Does the fan run? Often I find that the problem is memory. What I suggest is removing all memory cards except 1 at the lowest slot. Try again then.
