Hopefully this about 10” non pro (thank god) with at LEAST 4 go ram is a go. And of course at NOT an ungodly price.

Doubt it, 2gb and same budget build/components. Price will stay the same. Mini5 will follow the same template. Remember targeted customer is educational institutions.. It will definitely be an upgrade from 2018 iPad most likely A11 chipset

I think making the regular ipad 10” definitely helps the rumor of an ipad mini update as well. Yay! My ipad mini 2 just died after 5 years. Loving my 11” iPP for serious work. But i am careful with it. I do miss being able to throw my mini into my cargo pants pocket and just roll. Would love to have another knock around town ipad mini.

Regular iPads are not just targeted for the education segment, but rather more for the typical tablet user with conventional needs who wants a value product. The Pro segment typically have specific graphic or performance needs and/or are favored by aficionados/hobbyists of the iPad genre.

I think the 2019 regular model will likely see additional memory along with a chip bump, but the Retina display will likely stay (hopefully) to keep the value consistent.

That would be fine small speed and memory bump 10” and reasonable price, as long as it it designed right
