Other 2019 iPhone will be a new form factor

You heard it first and I’m calling it now. The iPad X are rumored to have angular edges ala iPhone 5 series. I would LOVE to have the chamfered edges or boxy iPhone again. Hands down 5 series is the best design. If we can get that classic design merged with the glass back ala iPhone 4... it would be epic.

No more round edges for 2019 and possibly 4 years ahead.

In reference to the iPhone chamfered edges, this would all be negated when you put a case on haha

I wouldn’t consider it a “new form factor” if Apple just goes back to how they used to make their phones.

I thought you’d be too busy sueing Apple to buy any more of their products.

From what I read on these forums Apple could save a lot of money by putting this years technology into a new shape outer case and release it next year as a new phone. Many many people seem to disregard what’s inside and just go for the changed look so would happily purchase.

Personally, I’ve always preferred the “S” cycle as I really don’t care if it looks the same as last year, or year before. If people think I have an older phone it doesn’t matter to me in the slightest, it is the internal upgrades that make for a different (hopefully better) user experience.

Agreed, that’s why I prefer the S cycles to keep and sell the one prior.

This goes the same for me buying a car, I buy the MMC (mid model change) version of that generation.
