I haven't researched this at all, but I'm hoping for better and more widely supported network handoff capabilities. There are extensions on the older standards, but they're either limited or not well supported.
Max theoretical speed: Couldn't care less; 1gbit/s is plenty if you can actually achieve it. Currently packet loss or inconsistent latency over wifi is pretty common if there are any physical barriers, so the promised speeds are fictional over TCP. Heck, I almost want it to send duplicate packets as a workaround. Hoping that's remedied.

Cable company provided router combos aren't so great. But Fios is great service. Wish I still had them where I live.
