I haven't really listened to music prior to the recent software update so I cannot say whether it happened before or after.
I've read about those issues that the Pros are having, but when I searched for a 2019 Air, it didn't come up with any results.
Is it a manufacturing defect or does Costco really sell lower end Apple products?

Why do you think Apple products from Costco are any different quality than anywhere else? Do you think Apple has two different production lines: one for Costco and one for everyone else? I don't think so. When you buy from Costco, Best Buy, Micro Center, or anyone else who is an authorized Apple reseller, you're getting the exact same Apple product you would get if you bought direct from Apple. You just got a lemon, that's all. It happens. Take it to Apple and get it fixed. Problem solved.

There had been rumors for years that lower cost retailers sell lower grade merchandise. Especially with WalMart and Costco. My 2011 (Apple Store purchased) Air seems to be of better quality than 2019 Air from Costco. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same?
