I have a 2018 and have experienced it. An extremely loud pop, I thought it blew the speaker at first. Had happened a few times.

Yes, my 2018 and 2019 had this problem. Don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon looking at the pace Apple releases bugfixes.

My 2018 has bee doing it for a while. Now the screen is starting to do this flicker/dimming it hard to explain. Seems to be worse when I am rendering a video i am not sure what to do and or course it out of warranty.

The popping was irritating, but the screen is starting to worry me now.

Hi guys. Here is a video of this issue:

PS: The Apple representatives in my country won't help in any meaningful way.

My 2019 mbp has this issue. I briefly owned a 2018 model before I returned it. It also had the same issue. I think all 2018+ models are affected.

Its a temperature change occurrence

Hi upintheclouds. This specific issue has nothing to do with the known thermal expansion problem that previous models had. These are static electric discharge sounds that are finding their way through the right speaker. You can see this in the video i posted.
