Hi

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro 13inch.

Ever since I got the device I have had crackling from the speakers.

It doesnt happen when I use headphones.

When listening to Audio I will get crackling, its doesnt matter on the volume level.

It also happens when I close down Safari tabs, I will get a crackle then.

It can happen a lot in one day, then not happen for a week. I remember seeing Apple said it was an issue with software rather than the laptop, as I think the 15/16inch suffered with it, but none of the updates have made it any better.

Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? Or is it best to speak to Apple about it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
James

This sounds 100% like the speaker popping issue that has been plaguing Mac users since 10.15 Catalina, and still not fixed some months and revisions later...

Yer that's what I thought, I might take it back to Apple, I have waited for updates and they never come

this is a looong time...issue...since 2018 models
you cant do anything, just a refund if you want

Anybody else got any advice? In the last 24hours the speakers have been popping constantly, makes it impossible to actually listen to anything

There is no answer apart from wait for Apple to fix it...hopefully 10.15.5 will drop this week and will be the answer to all the awkwardness with the OS.

I know that this is not really a solution, but I had this problem until I installed the app Boom 3D. Apart from making the speakers sound about twice as good, it completely fixed the crackling. And No, I have no connection to the makers of the app.
